Army Family Action Plan Conference Identifies Key Issues

Non-chargeable bereavement leave, similar to funeral leave provided by many civilian companies, is one of many issues that representatives attending the 25th annual Army Family Action Plan Conference in late January would like to see put in place. The conference draws delegates from around the globe who examine ways to improve the quality of life for military members and their families. The shortage of medical providers in military treatment facilities also continues to be an expressed concern, not only among Army families, but military-wide.
