Annual MOAA Army Ten-Miler Team

MOAA members and headquarters’ staff laced up in Washington, DC, October 4th for the nation’s largest 10 mile race, the Army Ten-Miler.

Over 60 runners represented the association! MOAA members and staff cheered on the runners all along the course through DC. When the racers reached the finish line, they went straight to the post-race party in the MOAA tents. There they cooled off, rehydrated, and snacked with fellow team members.

The night before the race, the team, staff, family, and friends loaded up on carbohydrates and enjoyed team camaraderie at the MOAA pasta supper held at MOAA Headquarters in Alexandria, VA.

Plans are already underway for the sixth annual MOAA Army Ten-Miler Team. In addition to bragging rights, team members will also receive:

  • Training schedule
  • Invitation to a pre-race pasta supper
  • Free MOAA t-shirt to wear on race day
  • Free admission to a post-race party in MOAA’s tents at the finish line where water, snacks, and other goodies will be available
