than 16,000 respondents participated in MOAA’s online survey last week to
measure reactions to the COLA-cutting provision in the recently passed
Bipartisan Budget Act of 2013.
total, almost 95 percent of respondents opposed the COLA cut.

served. Another 31 percent feel that other federal spending programs should be
targeted for cuts before military retirement.
