Our mission is threefold: to reinforce the bonds of fellowship and camaraderie we forged on active duty; to engage in community service activities related to veterans and the armed forces; and to act as "boots on the ground" for the legislative agenda of MOAA National.

Membership in the VF MOAA Chapter is open to anyone who holds or has ever held a commission or warrant in any component of the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Public Health Service or National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and their surviving spouses. The Valley Forge Chapter is proud to support 4 collegiate and 7 high school ROTC/JROTC programs in our area through our Liberty Bell Scholarship Program. We are also proud to serve on the Advisory Council to the Southeastern Pennsylvania Veterans Home in Spring City, and the Freedom Foundation's Medal of Honor Grove at Valley Forge. Our members routinely add new community activities to our annual calendar, which are listed in the chapter's quarterly newsletter, accessible via www.pa-coc.org. The MOAA Chapter supports the MOAA national legislative agenda and we annually invite our Congressional Representative and Senators to speak to the chapter. The Chapter holds a quarterly luncheon at different venues throughout the Greater Philadelphia Metropolitan Area and a Monthly Camaraderie Breakfast. Both events are suspended in compliance with guidelines established by the CDC in response to the COVID pandemic.
