Mission

The purposes of this association shall be to promote the purposes and objectives of the Military Officers' Association; foster fraternal relations among retired active and former warrant and commissioned officers of the uniformed services; protect the rights and interests of these personnel and their dependents and survivors; provide useful services for these members and their dependents and survivors and serve the community and the nation. Building membership strength with other chapters for a strong voice in both Colorado and Federal programs centering on veterans and their families.

Information on Joining the Chapter

Membership is open to those who hold or have held a warrant or commission in any component of the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Public Health Service or NOAA and their surviving spouses.

 

New Chapter members are not required to pay Chapter dues in 2022.

MHMOA is a member of the United Veterans Committee
(UVC) & assists in lobbying/supporting veterans' causes and benefits

Chapter Activities

·        Supporting federal & state legislation that assist veterans and their families.

·        Participating in the United Veterans Committee (UVC)

·        ROTC Scholarships

·        Contributing donations to Project Sanctuary, a leader in bringing health and wellness to our military families.

·        Visiting veteran patients residing at the Veterans Home

·        Providing support to the USO and our wounded warriors.

·        Facilitate access to transition and change of career information and opportunities, such as the VetPropulsion© Program, and other programs that may benefit MHMOA members.  Using VetPropulsion© with Birkman Method©, the veteran can discover the correct career path and, with the Vetpropulsion© course, make preparations to achieve his/her goal.

Mile High Military Officers’ Association celebrated its 60th Anniversary on September 11th, 2021.

The Chapter has a monthly General Membership Luncheon on the second Friday of each month at 11:30 A.M. at the Rendezvous Restaurant at Heather Gardens, 2877 S. Heather Gardens Way, Aurora, CO. For reservations, contact MAJ Ron Thompson at 720-456-7174.
