The House and Senate recently introduced several important bills on TRICARE, the commissary benefit, and modernizing the VA. Use the links below to send your legislators a MOAA-suggested message in support of these key bills.

H.R. 4015 and S. 2000 – Sustainable Growth Rate Repeal and Medicare Provider Payment Modernization Act. Companion bills from Rep. Michael Burgess (R-Tex.) and Sen. Max Baucus (D-Mont.) would permanently replace the flawed formula that threatens to cut Medicare/TRICARE payments to doctors by 24 percent.

H.R. 4217 and S. 2075 – Military Commissary Sustainment Act. Companion bills from Rep. Randy Forbes (R-Va.) and Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.) would prohibit cuts to commissaries proposed in the administration’s FY 2015 budget.

S. 2091 – 21st Century Veterans Benefits Delivery Act. Rep. Dean Heller’s (R-Nev.) legislation would modernize the VA claims processing and reporting system.
