TRICARE’s $22 Drugs

DoD has moved these drugs to the so-called “third (nonformulary) tier,” requiring a $22 copayment (vs. the normal $3 generic and $9 brand name). These drugs are still available for $9 if TRICARE approves a doctor’s judgment that they are medically necessary.
