MOAA MFI Programs

MOAA MFI funding will support national and council/chapter programs and services in four areas of critical military family need. These areas also align with areas of particular MOAA HQ and MOAA Council/Chapter expertise. 


Career Transition

While some MOAA Career Transition programs and services are member-only benefits, many of these “best-in-class” programs are made available to military families and veterans of all ranks and services as part of the MOAA MFI’s   philanthropic mission. Learn more about these resources.

Military Spouse Professional Development

An area of significant unmet military family need, Military Spouse Professional Development is a principal MOAA MFI focus area undergoing significant program enhancements. Find out how you can get involved.


Community Outreach

As part of its philanthropic mission to assist military families and veterans of all ranks, the MOAA MFI Community Outreach Grant Program offers grants to MOAA councils or chapters currently serving in leadership positions of community collaborations providing direct services to local military and veteran families. Eligible services include: behavioral health, employment, volunteerism, education, health, family strength, community reintegration and financial or legal assistance.
