Mission

The mission of the Fort Knox Inc. MOAA Chapter is to benefit the members of the uniformed services, their families and survivors and to advocate for a strong national defense, while providing needed support to the community and its members.

Information on Joining the Chapter

Membership in the Fort Knox Inc., MOAA Chapter is open to anyone who holds or has ever held a commission or warrant in any component of the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Public Health Service or National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and their surviving spouses. To obtain information on becoming an active member, please call 502-626-4090 and leave your name and telephone number.

Chapter Activities

The Fort Knox Inc., MOAA Chapter holds 12 dinner meetings a year featuring guest speakers on topics relevant to the members. Each meeting is held on the third Wednesday of the month from 1715-2000 hours in Building 2377 on Fort Knox, KY. The chapter supports 6 local JROTC programs and four graduating classes of the ROTC “Leader’s Training Course” at Fort Knox, KY. The chapter has supported the local Kentucky Patriots Organization in support of the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, KY. Major annual fundraising events are: January -- White Elephant Sale; May -- Derby Party; September -- Golf Benefit Scramble. In 2013, the chapter’s 18th year of awarding scholarships, 10 scholarships totally $5500 were awarded to local high school seniors.
