Chapter Activities

Golf Tournament: The golf tournament is set for Monday, September 12th, 2016 at Pebble Creek Country Club to again raise money for the AWCF (see below). Please help us spread the word to your golf friends and supporters of our veterans. If you know of a local business that might like to donate please contact Vic Reid at Vic_Reid@Suddenlink.net or (979) 693-5781 so we can get you a donation form. Air Warrior Courage Foundation (AWCF): For the last two years our chapter has contributed $10,000 to the AWCF to help wounded veterans at the San Antonio Military Medical Center (formerly Brooke Army Medical Center). We hope to do as well this year or even better! Every penny contributed to the AWCF helps our wounded veterans. No administrative overhead or program costs are taken out. ROTC Awards: This past April (2016) our chapter presented seven MOAA medals and certificates to outstanding ROTC Cadets at Texas A&M University (4), Prairie View A&M (2), and the JROTC unit at Brenham H.S.
